
Barbara Posner holds a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Wheelock College, Boston MA, and a master's degree in sociology and education from Teachers' College, Columbia University, NY. She is a NY State certified Special Education teacher. Her postgraduate training includes extensive course work in Special Education, English as a Second Language, and parenting education.
In 1980, she founded the Northern Westchester Parent Child Group, a parent education and support group in Bedford, NY. Barbara served as their Director until 1989 and as a group facilitator and educator until 1996.
In 1993, Barbara was appointed to the Board of Directors of Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder of Westchester County, NY (ChADD) and served as Vice President and the head of their speakers' bureau. She is also a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP), Connecticut Association of Children with Learning Disabilities (CACLD) and a member of the Child Psychiatric Research Community Advisory Board at Columbia University, College of Physicians & Surgeons.
In 1997, Barbara founded Educational Resources to support and place students with special needs in school and programs.
Barbara is the mother of three children, two of whom have special needs.

Myrna Harris has spent over 25 years as a special educator, teaching and leading in a variety of settings: hospitals, residential treatment centers, and urban and suburban school dsitricts. For the past 20 years, she has been a member of the Hendrick Hudson School District Committee on Special Education, a Department Leader, and for the past ten years, the Chairperson of the Subcommittee on Special Education.
Myrna attended Fordham University and Teachers College, Columbia University for her postgraduate degrees in Special Education and Educational Leadership. She is a New York State certified Special Education Teacher and a School and District Administrator with additional training in Life Space Crisis Intervention. As an Adjunct Instructor of Special Education courses and a speaker to both educators and parents, she has given numerous workshops and seminars on meeting the instructional and behavioral needs of students with challenges.
Myrna is a member of the Nonverbal Learning Disorders Association (NLDA), National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP), and the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).
Myrna is committed to finding appropriate educational opportunities for children who are struggling and looks forward to bringing her expertise and experience to Educational Resources Unlimited and the families we serve.
Myrna and her husband have two grown children, each with their unique challenges.
